BURNOUT
Let's talk about BURNOUT 🫣
WOW 😳 have I experienced THIS! Multiple times over many years of my life. It was a cycle I just never managed to break ... HOWEVER, I LEARNED AND REALISED WHAT IN TF WAS HAPPENING TO ME...
I learned exactly 💯 what I needed to do to basically save myself! I learned to manage and get better!
The last time I was diagnosed with burnout, I had Doctors and multiple different specialists telling me I was actually, TRULY KILLING MYSELF... I eventually realized what I needed.
I needed, my entire being NEEDED TO ACTUALLY TAKE ACTION.
Burnout is REAL!
Understanding it... Well, that's another story! When you've been through true burnout yourself, then you'll understand moreso!
Been there, done that! I almost landed up in mental health facilities and/or hospitals...
However, I worked on it and MADE THE CHANGE I NEEDED TO!
MY ENTIRE BEING NEEDED IT!
And you know what? I have been ABLE to help so many with burnout due to the fact that I've learnt and grown in terms of how to actually work through, cope and manage it and then actually get yourself better!
So, I did. I actually took basically a sabbatical, of a year roughly off my own business. I needed to do this. I was doing such a disservice to myself... It affected every single aspect of my life. My physical and mental health went to absolute sh*t!
So here is some info!
...
What is Burnout?
Burnout is a lot more common among many globally. Burnout can be caused by many factors in one's life. Burnout is when someone is in complete emotional, mental and physical exhaustion.
Those will suffer with having difficulty to engage in everyday daily life in terms of daily tasks/activities.
The person will tend to struggle with enjoying things they would usually enjoy and start to feel somewhat in a state of hopelessness.
There are many possible causes of burnout
These can range from, stressful situations in one's life, stressful work environments, stressful living environments or even having too many responsibilities that one cannot handle on their own.
Life situations and circumstances can cause chronic stress which affects the mental/emotional, physical overall health of the sufferer.
For anyone who has suffered/ing from long-term stress, that pressure can be overwhelming whether it is home/living demands or work.
The mental health, behavioral and physical health gets so affected...
Here are some things as to what someone can go through in their entire being.
What someone will most likely experience.
Exhaustion / chronic fatigue
Mental health issues, lashing out, withdrawing, isolation, headaches, emotional, stomach problems, detachment, unhealthy coping mechanisms, and there can be more.
IT'S ACTUALLY JUST UNREAL HOW BURNOUT CAN BE SO DANGEROUS!
Well, things people need in regards to burnout is Rest!
Ofcourse, help and support from others whether it be family, friends or colleagues.
They need extra help with daily life tasks and activities.
They need to prioritize themselves without guilt.
Having an eating plan that is nutritious, that will not only nourish and fuel the body but also the mind.
Having quality sleep, this needs to be assessed!

Lifestyle causes of burnout can be:

Not enough and proper rest and relaxation
Not enough socialization
Too many responsibilities which they have not enough help
And here we go, THE BIG ONE...
Work work work! This is EXTREMELY common amongst many people around the globe.
Let's be real!?
Work-related causes of burnout can be:
Not having recognition/lack thereof
Chaotic environment
High pressure within their work environment
Demanding expectations
Work that can be tedious and monotonous / work that doesn't challenge the sufferer to change things up which can lead to mental energy decline
A person can be rather prone to burnout or should I say affected more easily sometimes has certain traits and characteristics about them.
The characteristics and personality traits of the person can be:
A high achiever
The need to be in control
Pessimism in their views of themselves
Being a perfectionist in one or all aspects of their life
What the person needs mostly is help and support from others whether it be family, friends or colleagues.
They need extra help with daily life tasks and activities.
They need to prioritize themselves without guilt.
This is also why they need support and acknowledgment that they are suffering.
I'll repeat again that eating a healthy diet, and working with eating nutritious food that will not only nourish and fuel the body but also the mind is so vital
Having quality sleep, and healthier sleep patterns need to be assessed. YES, I SAID IT AGAIN.
I just honestly understand this so well, I have been through it myself, I have witnessed it with so many and these points and tips need to be reiterated.
Having someone help with accountability to do things they used to enjoy or new things to explore. Anything ranging between work and hobbies.
Working on themselves through their healing journey, whether it is a psychologist, psychiatrist, general doctor, coach, or mentor. Even all of these. Multiple is best.
...All of the above are crucial for the person. 🙏🏻
